I took these myself so I'm very proud of how they turned out!!
It started out like this....
....then we added to it. :)

Babies are people too!
And......
Human rights should begin at conception!
And they are not punishment! But Blessings from God! (Please see video to follow.)

This is Brodie @ 24 wks 5 days.
The fuzzy line at the bottom is not a smudge in the pic
or static in the sonogram machine,
but it is Brodie's heartbeat...and a strong one at that.
If that's not a sign of life I don't know what is!
And here is my Brodie at 35 wks 5 days

THIS SAYS IT ALL:
Time passes.
Life happens.
Distance separates.
Children grow up.
Jobs come and go.
Love waxes and wanes.
Men don't do what they're supposed to do.
Hearts break.
Parents die.
Colleagues forget favors.
Careers end.
BUT.........
Sisters are there,
no matter how much time and how
many miles are between you.
A girl friend is never farther away
than needing her can reach.
When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you
have to walk it by yourself, the women in your life
will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on,
praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on
your behalf, and waiting with open arms at the
valley's end.
Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk
beside you...Or come in and carry you out.
Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters,
daughters-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, Mothers,
Grandmothers, aunties, nieces, cousins, and extended
family, all bless our life!
The world wouldn't be the same without women, and
neither would I. When we began this adventure called
womanhood, we had no idea of the incredible joys or
sorrows that lay ahead. Nor did we know how much we
would need each other.
Every day, we need each other still.

Mommy Finally Gets To Hold Brodie Again!
I went to the doctor today for my follow up visit after my surgery.
The surgeon took off the steril strips and said that everything looked really good and that I was healing really well. He also said it would be okay to pick up Brodie now, which is what I couldn't wait to hear! For the first couple of days I couldn't hold him against me at all. Then on about the 4th day I couldn't take it anymore and so I put a pillow on my belly and had Stephen to hand him to me and held him that way...lol
The surgeon also said there were no restrictions on what I could eat either. He told us in a funny way "The gallbladder is gone and they don't grow back, I promise."...lol Thank God they don't!
Anyway, so glad to have all that behind me and life here almost back to normal. :)
