The surgeon took off the steril strips and said that everything looked really good and that I was healing really well. He also said it would be okay to pick up Brodie now, which is what I couldn't wait to hear! For the first couple of days I couldn't hold him against me at all. Then on about the 4th day I couldn't take it anymore and so I put a pillow on my belly and had Stephen to hand him to me and held him that way...lol
The surgeon also said there were no restrictions on what I could eat either. He told us in a funny way "The gallbladder is gone and they don't grow back, I promise."...lol Thank God they don't!
Anyway, so glad to have all that behind me and life here almost back to normal. :)
